Down for the Count

I got a horrible case of food poisoning on Thursday night and was unable to do either the 120 mile bike ride on Saturday or the 20 mile run on Sunday. Can anyone say, freak out?

Well, I've become quite zen about it. There's nothing I can do about it and at least it didn't happen the week of the race. Plus, my knee was bothering me, so this gave it much needed rest.

So what's coming up? Well I've got a 3 hour bike ride on Saturday, followed by a day of Richard and Elaina's wedding festivities and then a 22 mile run on Sunday. Let's hope it goes well.

Now, I think that I'm actually hungry for the first time in 4 days!
